Here it is! 🤗🤗🤗
DO NOT BE AFRAID TO...
👉ask for help
👉ask for advice
👉be curious
👉seek mentorship
Why?! 🤷♀️
What better way to learn than from other people's experiences? They've already done the ground work.
This is how it looked and looks for me (PROOF)!
👧Middle School / High School
🔸I didn't do this nearly enough in middle school and high school.
🔸I did ask my mom for help (usually in a panic because something was due SOON).
🔸You SHOULD ask all the questions about college! What is it like? What does it take? What are the challenges? What did you like? What major did you pursue? Did you like that major? Would you do anything differently?
🔸You SHOULD ask all the questions about being a student-athlete! How did you balance all of it? What did you do when you had to travel? What did you learn from your experience?
🔸You SHOULD ask about jobs and careers you are interested in! What do you love about this position? What do you not like? How did you get here? What is your best tips? How do I get into a field like this?
👱♀️College
🔸I did do this in college (still could of done better though)!
🔸You SHOULD reach out to alumni, staff, coaches, tutors, sports psychologists, teammates, parents, anyone that has EXPERIENCE!
👩Adulting
🔸I was asking anyone and everyone questions who was doing something I was interested in!
🔸Reaching out to a random stranger on Instagram led me to being a trainer at Positive Coaching Alliance.
🔸Making a relationship at my crossfit gym led me to my business coach and mentor in life.
🔸Asking for insight from others at my crossfit gym led me to job #1 and job #2.
🔸Making connections with people that knew more about retirement and money has helped me learn so much and plan for my future.
🔸Asking questions at my job led me to knowing a whole lot more about real estate than I did right after college.
🔸All of those questions, getting out of my comfort zone moments, reaching out for help and advice, led me to owning my very own business!
The worst thing that can happen when you do this is someone says no. Who cares?! Move on to the next amazing person. People love to share and help! REACH OUT! 💁♀️💁♀️💁♀️
You've got this girl! 💕
